CURRICULUM

Bluberry curriculum is an integrated approach of Dr. Howard Gardener’s Multiple intelligences theory which caters to different learning styles and follows the Activity based learning with John Dewey’s Thematic Approach. We have taken the advantages of all these approaches and designed a curriculum for the new generation of Edupreneurs.

Bluberry is a set of 5 books comprising of Science, Mathematics and English for preschool learners from Playgroup to Upper kindergarten. The curriculum aims at honing a range of skills to prepare children in their early years for school education and life beyond.

The mentor’s manual is a fundamental guiding tool for teachers to plan meaningful and appropriate learning experiences for children.

SNEAK PEEK encourages learners to observe and explore the world around them.

  1. A Thematic approach with 7 themes across all the grades.
  2.   Different concepts taught through all the senses – hearing, listening, touch, tasting, sight, smell etc.
  3.   Activities which gives students opportunity to explore and experiment and enhance thinking skills.

123 GO lays the foundation of a learner’s conceptual understanding of numbers and develops the process and skill involved in mathematical thinking.

  1.     Concrete- representational- abstract (CRA) approach to teach the concepts.
  2.   Stories and rhymes integrated to teach concepts.
  3.   Various manipulatives used to give hands on experience to students to learn different concepts.
  4.   Real life correlations and examples given to teach different concepts.

ALPHABET ADVENTURE is a balanced literacy program, where learners are given the opportunity to enrich their vocabulary, articulate and express their ideas, participate in a conversation, and use language to solve problems.

  1.   Aims at acquiring Language learning skills of listening, speaking, reading, writing, and thinking in an integrated manner.
  2.   A whole language and phonics approach to teach reading skills.
  3.   Meaningful writing activities to create the joy of writing.
  4.   Regular activities like Picture talk, skits, storytelling, discussions, and show and tell a part of the curriculum.
